We’ve used GoDog since we moved to NYC with our pups. One of our dogs was very leash reactive and the other has a strong small prey drive, so many places were not willing to even meet them for evaluations, etc. When we spoke with GoDog about our pups needs, Jason was thoughtful and able to support us.

Jason and his team are extremely capable, and patiently and lovingly worked with both our dogs. My dogs love(d) walking with them, and the in-home pet sitting they offered for my older dog while we were away made work trips easier. When she passed from cancer a few months ago, they were supportive and kind, offering to help with our other pup while we waited for hours in the hospital emergency room. They’re now helping us transition back to a one dog household and we’ll be relying on them when we are ready to add a new member to our family (they really do it all)!

We’ve been working with Jason for several months now, and he’s nothing short of a miracle worker. Our 110 lb dog was found as an adult stray, and seems to have had no socialization at all with other dogs. As a result of that isolation, and who knows what other awful experiences, she tended to be extremely anxious around and aggressive towards other dogs and sometimes even human strangers. We hired several trainers before Jason which brought some small improvements to her behavior, but since she’s been meeting with Jason, she is a changed pup: overall calmer, happier, no longer triggered by other dogs and even able to hang out (supervised and muzzled) with other dogs in dog parks, which for us is nothing short of a miracle. Even walking her is like walking a completely different dog, one who not only is not aggressive towards other dogs, but interested in and friendly toward them, whereas before we often couldn’t even walk on the same street if there were other dogs there. We only wish we had found Jason sooner, for all of our sakes.
