BROOKLYN Dog Walking Services
Curated small-group walks, intentionally designed.
We see ourselves as stewards of your dog’s well-being, guides in their development, and hosts of their party.
HOW IT WORKS
Once we decide to move forward together, we’ll come meet you and your pup. We learn their history, your relationship, where they’re at now, and what kind of future you envision for them.
We don’t assess dogs in theory. We assess them in real life.
We talk about what they should be walking on, whether training is needed, lifestyle changes, and then we create a plan to integrate them into a positive rhythm.
We carefully match dogs by:
Geography – Energy – Temperament – Emotional safety
Your dog should enjoy their company — not just tolerate it.

Why Choose GoDog Walking
Daily Updates
You get real updates. Not mugshot proof-of-life photos.
You get:
- behavior notes
- social progress
- funny moments
- meaningful photos and videos
You can also find us at: @godogbrooklyn
Group Structure
We generally walk two to four dogs at a time. That’s the sweet spot. More than four becomes clunky and unsafe.
We do solo walks when truly necessary — aggression, physical limitation, or emotional fragility. Isolation for convenience isn’t our style.
Windows & Access
We ask for a two-hour walking window.
Puppies under six months are usually on a one-hour window.
Larger windows let us:
- manage safety better
- create better group chemistry
- give your dog a better experience
We require two sets of keys. If unavailable, you can leave one in:
- a lockbox
- a local bodega
- or with our office
If we need to retrieve keys later, we charge the price of a walk.
You may securely store all building codes in your profile.
Weather Sensitive Care
We walk in most weather, but safety comes first.
In heat:
- we shorten walks
- stay in shade
- use cooling collars or vests
- bring water and ice packs
In cold:
- we bundle them
- shorten exposure
- keep circulation moving
If they get wet, we’ll dry them.
Please leave out a functional towel.
Gear
We’re specific about gear.
We prefer:
- 4-foot leads
- marine-grade or leather
- brass hardware
We sell Marine Dog 4-foot leads at wholesale ($18).
We don’t love bulky leash bags. They’re unsafe in group walks.
We are treat-heavy. Treats are bonding tools.
Your dog’s treats should be stocked and ready.
Safety Systems
Every dog is backed up.
We use:
- slip collars
- secondary safety lines
- double-bolt backup points
Dogs slip harnesses.
Bolts break.
Backups are not optional.
We also use carabiners to consolidate leads — four dogs become one controlled system.
The most important safety system is still: skilled hands + awareness + experience.
Why Choose GoDog For Your Brooklyn Dog walking needs
Thoughtful Pairings
We meticulously match dogs based not only on geography but also on temperament, energy level, and social dynamics to ensure every walk promotes positive interactions and friendships. Some dogs benefit greatly from companions who boost their confidence or match their activity level, and we carefully account for this when scheduling.
Safety First
Weather-Sensitive Care
Summer: On hot days, we stay in shaded areas, encourage the use of cooling collars or vests, and even pick up ice cubes from local bodegas to help our furry friends stay comfortable and refreshed.
Winter: In cold conditions, we take precautions to protect your dog’s paws from salt and snow, keep them bundled warmly in coats, limit exposure to harsh elements, and allow cozy indoor breaks to maintain comfort and safety.
