Our Stomping GRounds
When working on our website, I landed on this page and realized there’s not much to say about a service area. 
To entertain myself, I wondered: if one-time Park Slope resident Henry Miller owned a dog-walking business, how would he describe the service area?
So I decided to ask our medium — our Italian medium — Chad Gipitti. 
We channeled Henry Miller, asked him.
This is what came through…
“We walk the concrete and tree plots, careening curbs stained yellow and brown — sizzling sun, sudden corners of arctic blast. Pavements marked by city rain, coffee, old arguments, the residue of ordinary collisions. Sidewalks that have seen knees split open, groceries dropped and burst, paper bags bleeding beer and tomatoes into the gutter. Leather leashes slick with rain. Hands calloused by carabiners. The street absorbs everything. It doesn’t flinch.
Dogs understand this terrain without instruction. They read it nose-first — stress, excitement, heat, hunger, relief. They pause where stories overlap. They move through it awake. Our service area follows that same truth. We walk the blocks we know with our bodies, where boots get wet, hands get dirty, and attention matters more than optimism. If your street carries weight, it’s likely within our reach. It’s likely home.”
Pretty cool, huh?
